The Challenge

Marius is an extremely talented artist, with a unique vision, so his website had to embody the spirit of his work. Starting from his concept, we had to make the site come alive, while keeping it simple and meaningful. The beautiful design had to be complemented by a wonderful user-experience.

The Execution

Fortunately this is a great time for the internet and we were able to employ all the state of the art geekiness in order to deliver an interactive, dynamic and representative website. From ajax, animations and URL friendliness to social media integration, from keyboard navigation to history retention and search engine optimization, it's all there. This is truly one of the best sites we've delivered so far.

The Product

The site itself is an ajax based web app that showcases the artist's work, laid out on a clear and concise navigation structure. All user interaction is clear and fuzz-free, although we've embedded some eye-candy for your viewing pleasure. 

Geekiness

The site is build using the Arachnid PHP Framework and MooTools for client animation. It features async content loading, load progress tracking and action queuing for responsiveness and browser history integration. One of the tricky bits was implementing the history feature, which for this website was a particular challenge, due to the various types of transitions between sections. The navigation had to be consistent throughout the site.
