Intense Studios

A forward-thinking art, photography, graphic design and film studio, based out of Copenhagen.

The Task

Our friends at Intense Studios in Denmark decided it was time to feature a new image for their company on the web and asked us to develop the website. Being a creative company, they provided  the layouts and all the visual elements needed to proceed.

The Challenge

There were two challenging aspects in developing the website. The first was creating a Flash menu that was able to resize according to the website's navigational structure.

The second one was creating a popup box that would display info related to the work currently being displayed. This box had to be able to display both images, text content and video, as well as be capable of rendering an image gallery for those portfolio items that had more than one image.

The Outcome

The Intense Studios website is a truly complex application, that takes advantage of many of the great technologies available today such as Flash, AJAX and the MooTools JavaScript library

Nice, but what did the client say?

“As an established visual studio, looking to rebrand we understood the importance of a great website. We offer a high quality set of services and needed our website to fully reflect this fact. Sideways used their extensive knowledge to create a smooth and feature-rich website with a content management system that allows us to have full control of the content which is very important to us.

Not only does our current website exceed our initial expectations but we are happy to say that we get regular compliments on its design and intuitive functionality from our clients.”
